How It Works
Downloading Instagram content has never been easier. Follow these simple steps to save any Reel, Video, Photo, or Story.
Copy the Instagram URL
Open the Instagram app or website and navigate to the Reel, Video, Photo, or Story you want to download. Tap the share button (the paper airplane icon or three-dot menu) and select "Copy Link" to copy the post URL to your clipboard.

Paste & Click Download
Come back to InstaReelDownload, paste the copied URL into the input box on the homepage, and click the "Download" button. You can also use the "Paste" button to quickly paste from your clipboard.
Tip: Our tool will automatically detect whether the link is a Reel, Video, Photo, Story, or IGTV post and process it accordingly.
Save to Your Device
Once the media is extracted, you'll see a preview with download options. Click the download button to save the file directly to your device. The file will be saved in MP4 format for videos or JPEG/PNG for images.
Note: For carousel posts with multiple images, you can download each item individually.
